effective April 1, 2018
Effective April 1, 2018 Dr. Joanna Claustro and her associates will no longer be participating in the Kaiser Permanente/Dominion Dental Preventive Programs. This change does not affect coverage to those subscribing to the Dominion Dental PPO plans.
As a courtesy to our patients, our Administrative Team is available to answer your questions and review other coverage options available to you -- whether through our in-house preventive program or other programs offered through your employer or the open market.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Why are you withdrawing from the program?
A: A lot goes into providing our patients with the highest level of patient care -- from the clinical expertise and quality materials used, to the amazing people that comprise our team and the time required to provide patients with individualized care. Taking all of this into account, participating with the Kaiser Preventive Program is no longer a viable option for our practice without sacrificing quality of care.
Q: I have Kaiser as my primary plan, but also have secondary dental insurance. How does this affect my coverage?
A: We accept most PPO dental plans, so this change may not affect your coverage at all. In some cases, it may reduce your out-of-pocket expenses. Please give our Financial Coordinator a call at 703-406-8600 to confirm your secondary coverage.
Q: Who can I go to with my Kaiser Preventive Plan?
A: Please contact Kaiser/Dominion Dental for a list of practices that are actively participating in their program.
